About Christina

Building Strength for Every Season of Life

Christina Horner’s journey in fitness began at just 17, but it wasn’t about aesthetics — it was about power, discipline, and presence. Her passion for Muay Thai kickboxing took her across Canada, the U.S., and even to Thailand, where she trained and competed intensely. “It was the first time I felt my body was a tool — not something to look at, but something to use,” she reflects. The physical demands of training six hours a day, while raising two young children, instilled in her a deep respect for the body’s capacity and limits.

Now with over 17 years in the fitness and nutrition industry, Christina brings that lived experience to her clients — from children to 87-year-olds. Her approach begins with goal discovery and injury assessment, creating personalized programs that adapt to each individual’s stage of life.

She’s particularly passionate about supporting women navigating perimenopause and menopause — those facing body changes, elevated stress, and the frustration of not knowing where to begin. “We need to prioritize ourselves,” Christina says. “Strength training is the key to aging well, it’s our best defense against osteoporosis, muscle loss, and declining heart health.” She says anyone using GLP-1s such as Ozempic should pay particular attention to resistance training.

Whether offering one-on-one sessions, monthly plans, or online home training, Christina focuses on helping clients build strength, maintain mobility, and meet protein goals — all essential for aging with resilience. Her September launch of at-home strength and mobility classes is designed to meet busy women where they are, making it easier to integrate fitness into real life.

With her evidence-based, compassionate approach and firm belief that aging doesn’t mean decline, Christina is helping women reclaim their strength, inside and out.
